1. Introduction
a. This Policy
This Bankrolla Responsible Gaming Policy (this “Policy”) describes various tools and resources available to our users to ensure responsible use of the Platform, including play in the Games.
b. Commitment
Bankrolla is committed to the protection of the Platform users and promoting responsible social gameplay as a policy of customer care and social responsibility. We recognise that the Games are fun and like many other forms of entertainment, should be consumed in a responsible manner.
c. Terms and Definitions
These Rules are deemed an integral part of the Bankrolla Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”), as may be updated from time to time, and should be read alongside the Terms. Unless defined in these Rules, capitalised terms have the meaning provided in the Terms.
d. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this Policy, or any part hereof, with immediate effect, with or without notice, and without liability to you, at our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your use of the Platform if we find that, or if we are of the opinion that, you are violating this Policy or the Terms.
2. Control Tools
a. Active Reminders
The Platform may implement a system of active notifications to promote responsible gameplay, reminding users of the time and/or amount spent. These reminders may appear at regular intervals during gameplay sessions and include information about time played in the current session, amount spent, an option to take a break or end the session, and links to responsible gaming resources.
b. Account History
Platform users may request access to the history of their Account containing gameplay activities and transaction history, including payments and redemotions.
c. Self-Limitation Options
The Platform offers self-limitation tools to help users manage their gameplay responsibly. Users can apply for self exclusion to make their Account temporarily (for 7, 14, or 30 days) or permanently unavailable. In this case, early reopening will not be available, unless otherwise decided by us in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion.
d. Cooling-Off
Users can also opt for cool-off periods, temporarily suspending their Account access for periods of 24 hours or 72 hours. Early reopening is available subject to our approval.
e. Termination
Finally, Users may request the termination of their Account at any time. Unless they are permanently self-excluded or otherwise decided by us, they may be able to reopen their Account by contacting us.
f. Limitations
Users must not use the Platform in an excessive, abnormal, or otherwise unsustainable manner. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in play that suggests signs of gaming addiction, or usage patterns that we, in our sole discretion, deem inconsistent with typical recreational use. The Platform use should not indicate behaviour that is harmful, unsustainable, or inconsistent with the intended use of the Platform.
g. Means and Recommendations
All these self-limitation options are accessible by contacting us. We encourage users to use these tools proactively to maintain control over their gaming activities. In case of doubt or if any assistance is needed, users are encouraged to contact us.
3. Self-Evaluation and Assessment
If you suspect that your, or someone else’s, use of the Platform may be problematic, we encourage you to take an assessment, one of which is available at https://gamequitters.com/video-game-addiction-test-for-gamers.
We may provide additional self-assessment tools directly on the Platform to help users evaluate their gambling behavior. These tools include spending calculators and questionnaires designed to promote self-awareness.
4. Self-Evaluation and Assessment
We encourage anyone concerned about their gameplay to take an assessment. One available resource is https://gamequitters.com/video-game-addiction-test-for-gamers. We also plan to offer on-Platform spending calculators and questionnaires.
4. Support
Please consider one of the following resources if your activities have had a negative impact on your mental and emotional health, as well as a detrimental financial impact. We are not affiliated with and we are not responsible for any of these organizations.
- Gaming Addicts Anonymous (GAA) is a fellowship of people who support each other in recovering from the problems resulting from excessive Game playing.
- Financial Counseling Association of America (FCAA) is a professional association of financial counseling agencies that assist consumers with financial counseling services of all kinds, as well as debt management plans for the repayment of unsecured debts.
- National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) is one of the oldest networks of non-profit financial counseling agencies. The NFCC helps people to defeat their debt and look forward with confidence.
